Part-time resident Sajdak passes away
Dr. Gregory J. Sajdak, 43, passed away on Oct. 2 in Colorado Springs. He was an electrical engineer with Agilent Technologies. He was born June 17, 1964, to Richard and Sandra (Lamon) Sajdak who are deceased.

A bonus for history lovers: $9 million open space buy
An open space purchase of 1,836 acres in Breckenridge's mining mecca, the Golden Horseshoe, closed in spring, 2005. The $9 million purchase money went into escrow, awaiting the approval of a federal judge, which came in September.

Be involved in Continental Divide Trail discussion
The U.S. Forest Service is proposing a mountain biking ban on the Continental Divide Trail, which will include the Colorado trail from Kenosha Pass, Georgia Pass, Tiger Road area through Copper mountain, the Peaks Trail and the Monarch Crest Trail.

Sullivant memorial scheduled for Saturday
A memory service for former lawmaker Bryan Sterling Sullivant will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Lake Dillon Amphitheatre. The public is welcome to attend. Sullivant died on Sept. 9 at the age of 51.
